This site sets no cookie, and your measurement files never leave your browser.
Your measurement files
Files you open are read in your browser tab and are never sent to a server. This is not a setting that could change: the site has no function that receives a file, and its Content Security Policy forbids the page from sending data to any other site. The security page explains how to check it yourself.

What the site counts
No account exists and no script from another domain is loaded. To know whether the tool is used, the page sends the name of a few events, such as “a file was opened”, and the server adds one to a counter for that event and that day. No IP address, no identifier, no time of day and nothing stored on your device: only daily totals exist, and nothing can recognise you from one visit to the next. The host also processes technical data such as your IP address, to deliver the pages, to limit the number of requests to the counting service, and to protect the site against attacks. It keeps it for a limited period of its own. The site keeps no request log.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing, anonymously, whether the tool is used, and in keeping the site working.
The Batch Extract list
If you leave your email address to hear about Batch Extract, the site keeps the address, the tool and the date, nothing else. It is used to send at most two emails: an early access offer, then the release of the tool.

Emails you send
They are kept for as long as it takes to answer, then archived for three years at most.
Your browser
Your browser keeps the application's files, so that it works offline, and your choice of light or dark mode. Nothing is stored on your device for counting or tracking, which is why there is no consent banner.
Recipients and transfers
The only third parties involved are the host, Cloudflare, Inc., and, once the early access offer is sent, the email sending service, each for its own part. No data is sold, exchanged or used for advertising. These providers may process data outside the European Union, on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and you can withdraw your consent. Write to contact@kymogram.com, with no reason to give: an answer is owed within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
