One table from many TDMS files
What it does
Choose a folder of .tdms files and the values you want from each: minimum, maximum, mean, standard
deviation, RMS, first or last value, duration, the value at a given time, the total and the longest time above a
threshold, over the whole run or a time range, and file, group or channel properties. You get one row per file.
Give a value a lower or upper limit and each file gets a verdict: PASS, FAIL, or NO DATA when a checked value is missing. A value out of its limits is marked high or low. Export the table to CSV or to an Excel workbook with the failures filled in red, plot any column across files to see a drift, and overlay a channel from several runs on one time axis.
In Chrome and Edge, Watch a folder adds each new file the test bench writes, once the bench has finished writing it, and reads it into the table.
Each file is opened in this tab, read, and dropped before the next one. Files are never uploaded: disconnect from the network once the page has loaded and it still works.

Pro is not on sale yet. The planned price is 149 EUR per person per year, for one named person on any of their computers. People on the waiting list get an early access offer first, at a reduced price. The license key will be checked in the browser without contacting any server, so it also works on a test bench with no internet access.
Typical uses
- The peak temperature of every run of an endurance test, with FAIL on the runs above 120 °C.
- The mean pressure between 10 and 20 s, once the bench is steady, for each part tested.
- The serial number property next to each result, ready to paste into a test report.
- A bench left running overnight, with the table filling in as each file is written.
What it does not do
- It does not read DAQmx raw data, as the viewer does not.
- It does not combine values across files (a mean of means, for example): export the table for that.
- It does not remember your columns between visits. Save them with Save columns and load the file next time.
- Folder watching needs Chrome or Edge: other browsers cannot be given read access to a folder.
